Art historian and advanced, second level AIS Sommelier (Associazione Italiana Sommelier), Vane (Va-Nay) has been touring guests from all over the world since 2010, testing her favourite new tour material on her young son before launching it professionally.

Florence born, Vane feels very much as though she is precisely where she should be, in the heart of where the renaissance developed, working in precisely the right job, where she can share all her favourite things with all her guests.

Vane is an avid reader, yogi, and enthusiastic walker, exploring many of the beautiful parks outside the centre of Florence in her free time, and keeping tabs on her favourite produce markets and local shops on her way.

She has been involved in the study of art since she was a child, and can take you anywhere and talk about anything you would like, although she would probably confess that although she knows an awful lot about wine, she honestly prefers drinking it with guests and friends to talking about it.

If she had one big recommendation, it would be to let her show you the Medici Villa in Sesto Fiorentino, her favourite spot in the whole city for its peacefulness and great beauty.
