Passionate about travel and motorcycling, Patrik is a great wit with a sense of humour to match, and loves to share his knowledge of all things Slovakia & Central Europe with his guests.
His focus centres on 20th century history – afterall, in this time Slovakia was at different times part of an Empire, an annexed satellite state, a socialist republic, and now an independent one, branching out into culture, Jewish heritage, and stories about fascinating Slovak heroes, and Slovakian cinema.
And of course, cuisine is a big part of every tour he gives.
His own personal travels have taken him throughout Central Europe, to Japan for a month, and a year to Australia, which helped of course with his English language abilities.
In his time away from guiding, he’s on his motorcycle during the warmer months every single day throughout Slovaki and neighbouring countries. During the colder months, he snowboards, and recently got his snowboard instructor license in Austria so he can help teach others one of his favourite pastimes.
And during Covid, he took a bartending course, so that he can make excellent homemade cocktails for his guests after tours.
As required, Patrik can act as driver guide, with capacity up to 5 people with his own car, and larger vehicles can also be arranged. He can help with hotel choices, has a google map for guests with restaurants, and can help arrange most things Central Europe in terms of booking and planning with ease.
