Marta

Life led Marta to become a guide, and she has dedicated her life to illuminating Polish history and culture for her guests.

A vocational guidesince 2004, Marta lives her work, and can take you through almost any aspect of Warsowian life, history, and culture.

Here you will have elements of Polish culture, the history of Poland through the Second World War and the communist period, plenty of insight into Jewish-Polish heritage and historical co-existence, and lots of great food all brought together.

Beyond Warsaw, don’t hesitate to ask Marta to take you on a day trip out to the countryside or surrounding towns – Łódź (pronounced: woo-dge) and Lublin, for example make for excellent options.

One of her favourite memories is having walked part of Shvil, the National Israeli Hiking Trail along with a dear friend.

As required, private transportation can be booked, help with sites and recommendations, help with finding and connecting families & genealogical questions, and of course lots of great culinary recommendations.
