Giulia

An outdoorsy, equestrian transplanted-Italian-in-France art historian, Giulia adores sharing her love for Paris with her guests.

Under Giulia’s masterful watch, ancient Greek & Roman archeology meet perfume & pastry workshops with little tendrils of narrative covering opera, cultural heritage, geology, scavenger hunts & games, and the natural world writ large.

Between her time in Italy and France, she’s been a guide for nine years.

Giulia covers all the Parisian essentials and can show you the Louvre, Eiffel Tower, d’Orsay, Montmartre, St Germain, and Marais, not to mention Notre Dame, and St Chapelle.

But not-so-secretly, we’d encourage you to also take her a bit further off piste, as it were. Why not branch out to Versailles, Château de Chantilly, Château de Fontainebleau, or Château de Vaux le Vicomte, the inspiration for Versailles where 17th Century finance minister Nicolas Fouquet infamously fell from grace under Louis XIV following a particularly decadent party one fateful night, for example?

Or perhaps to Josephine Bonaparte’s Malmaison, or to Monet in Giverny, the Isle of Chatou…

When not guiding, Giulia’s family is a constant source of inspiration, with her engineer and chef husband, 16-year old figure skater daughter, math-addicted 12-year old, and of course Conquistad’or the horse as well.
