With well-rounded interests in gastronomy, history, archeology, culture, and folklore, Desiree can teach you Peruvian dances on your way through Lima, or help you celebrate a birthday along the Inca Trail.
She’s been guiding for 23 years, and prides herself on taking care of everything for her guests, so that they don’t have to worry about a thing. Quite understandably, she considers her very happy guests to be her biggest professional accomplishment.
When not guiding, she makes sure to take her little son (born during the pandemic) on little trips, in defiance of those who told her when he was born that travel was over until he was older. She freely acknowledges he probably won’t remember these later, but feels nonetheless as though this is most important for his development.
Most recently, they went to Chilean & Argentinean Patagonia so Desiree could fulfill her dream of making it all the way to the famous End of the World sign at Ushuaia.
As required, transportation can be booked, as can many different kinds of tours, and of course, lots and lots of restaurant suggestions.
